We are delighted to welcome to you the Griffith College BA in Film & TV Production Graduation Show of 2020.
The BA in Film & TV Production is a programme in practical content creation with an emphasis on the cycle of production, practical content creation skills and impactful storytelling.
Screen content creation continues to grow and evolve, and the filmmakers showcasing their work have spent their time in Griffith College experimenting, challenging and refining their practice. Distinctive, individual voices have emerged, yet collaboration and group work are at the centre of our programme. During their three years together, professional networks and lifelong friendships have flourished. The work sampled here is testament to hours of effort, dedication, inventiveness, adaptability and teamwork. Topics explored range from the influence culture restrictions have on art through to the visual manifestations of anxiety isolation.
Designed with a combination of creativity and industry needs in mind, this programme offers the opportunity for learners to specialise in disciplines from all stages of production. From concept development, direction, production, research, writing through to areas of cinematography, location sound recording and editing, VFX, grading, mastering and live TV broadcast.
Our experienced teaching staff, equipment and production facilities including live TV broadcast and greenscreen studio, post-production suites, professional standard production equipment have allowed for the creation of space where emerging filmmakers develop their skills and understanding of the screen media industry. It is with great pride we, as a faculty will follow the progress of this group of a resilient, hardworking group of creative people as they forge their path in the future.
Please enjoy the excerpts of the completed films available to view here, and we look forward to welcoming you to the physical screening of all the films in their entirety in November 2020.
