Vandals or Visionaries?
Upon seeing the extent of tagging and graffiti in Dublin, director Antti Leppala decided to learn more about the people behind the tags. ‘Tagger’ investigates the subculture of tagging: it explores the people that paint the streets of Dublin with their personalised signatures, and why they do it. Through interviews with a representative of Dublin City Council, a tagger called ‘Randy’ and commissioned painter Garreth Joyce, this film takes you on a journey through the evolving Irish graffiti scene.
