The Design Faculty is delighted to showcase eight graduates from the BA (Hons) Design Communication and their final project which was a self-developed brief with the theme of transformation. This degree covers print, motion and interaction and is one of the most rapidly changing design disciplines. It is a continuous challenge for our designers to create innovative original visual imagery.
Our students learn the core principles of print-based graphic design, design thinking, image making, typography, colour, messaging and hierarchy. Then they merge what they’ve learned with the language of code in order to build media and create interactive environments on a wide variety of contemporary and evolving platforms. The curriculum includes Creative Design, Technology and Business. We consider these to be inextricably intertwined. Our graduates are extremely well equipped to think commercially and creatively, in their future careers.
We applaud this group of students and are delighted to showcase their talents in the different areas they wished to focus on from the course in print, web, illustration, photography and motion design.
