The BA (Hons) in Fashion Design offers a comprehensive and rigorous preparation for careers in fashion and design. Our students learn how to be creative designers to create innovative and contemporary fashion collections. Learners are immersed in all aspects of the fashion industry, from the traditional methods of tailoring, embellishment, knitwear and fashion illustration techniques, to the very latest computer-aided design and business skills. Assignments include creative collection development and live industry based projects to ensure our graduates have the skills to work as independent designers or take up employment within industry. The calibre of our fashion graduates work has been recognised through numerous awards, exhibitions and industry placements.
