URBAN REVOLUTION A/W 20/21
The graduate collection URBAN REVOLUTION by JUNK is an Autumn/Winter 2020 ready-to-wear collection for confident women, that consists of six unique outfits. As the title says, it refers to revolutionary designs, inspired by punk and military wear and the desire for gender equality. The idea behind the equality concept is to promote fashion for females based on menswear as well as to blur the lines between two-gender fashion. Extreme, baggy and wide silhouettes were a conscious decision in order to shift the focus away from sexualizing women. The simplicity of the garments is enriched by adding details made out of materials such as seatbelts, making it a meaningful element of this collection.
