Educate Girls, India
India lags behind the rest of the world when it comes to gender equality. Government and non-government legislation have gone some way to rectifying this but there is still has a long way to go to achieve proper gender equality. The end goal of gender equality is to create a society in which women enjoy the same rights, freedoms and opportunities as men. My intention is to highlight the gender disparity in India’s education system and encourage girls and women to pursue their dreams through higher education.I hope that my campaign will give people pause to stop and think about gender inequality and the education poverty trap in a visually appealing way and for people to donate to the relevant charities.
