We were asked to redesign a protected structure into a hotel with an extension. Upon visiting the site, I was really inspired by the amount of history the building held. This inspired me to bring the building back to its roots which varies from the eras 1700–1900s. The protected structure will be a traditional style and the extension will also be modern with a bit of a modern twist, as I want people to feel like they’re walking from the past into the present.
