The Duchess Boutique Hotel
The original building and its new construction techniques had a significant influence when considering my design. I wanted to revitalise this historic landmark with an innovative and fresh approach, but also maintain the grandeur of the original building. This idea inspired me to create a somewhat juxtaposing design where elegance and style meet so-called ‘technology’. As a result, the structures much needed improvements and renovations are provided for and No. 10 is also given a new lease of life, as it begins an exciting chapter as a luxury boutique hotel. As an Interior Architect, my aim is to continue and explore all aspects of design and architecture, so that I can create beautiful buildings that also improve people’s lives.
