Busáras — Cultural | Youth Centre
The inspiration for my project comes from being environmentally friendly, and the reality that many people believe they must give up their modern lifestyle to do such a thing. Through my thesis research and personal perspective, I wanted to create a space for everyone, but with the younger generation at the forefront. They can go on to learn new essential skills, have fun in the process, and build skills. Skills and habits that support a better lifestyle for themselves and their environment. I chose to focus on the youth of Ireland, as they are the ones who will have to reinvent themselves and live through dramatic worldwide changes in the years to come. My design process is conservative and modern with colourful and luminous elements, symbolising a light shining into the youth future.
